The Research Skills Toolkit suggests tools, tips and techniques to support researchers in their work.
Hands-on workshops
At a series of live workshops, held at OUCS, researchers can try out tools and resources, and learn more from the specialist IT Teachers and Subject Librarians. [News coming soon about dates for year 2012/13]
Getting started at the Toolkit website
The online pages offer a quick introduction to a range of resources, with links to where you can find out more (courses, websites, videos and more).
Visit the Toolkit website (you may be asked to log in, giving your Oxford Single Sign-On username and password). You can then browse the collection of pages in different ways, such as by stage of research or alphabetically.
For Oxford researchers
The Toolkit is designed for Oxford researchers and postgraduate students; it can be accessed by anyone who has an Oxford Single Sign-On username and password.
The Toolkit has been prepared by staff from the Bodleian Libraries, Computing Services (OUCS), Careers Service and Academic Divisions and Faculties.
